What is a business card?

Business cards can be a reflection of one's image or company identity. When they are left behind, your business card is all that remains to differentiate you from your competitors, and a quality card often makes its way to the top of the stack. As a result, great care and thought usually go into personalizing and customizing these simple pieces of paper.

Business cards are now made from many different substrates. They are shared during formal introductions and their size makes them a convenient memory aid. A business card usually includes the person's name, company affiliation, company logo, street addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail address, website address or other contact information. Originally, cards were simple black text on white stock. Today, a professional business card includes one or more aspects of striking graphic design printed in color on many unique materials.
